Maybe I have a sick mind, I dunno, but I want to know what’s going on inside those secret CIA prisons. Abu Ghraib still exists, and Guantanomo Bay, and so do dozens of others we don’t know of, reducing hundreds, possibly thousands of human beings to the status of RATS. These torture centers are a crucial feature of the police state that the US have become (as for Europe, where I live: it’s fully complicit to say the least). I’m surprised that the US don’t even bother to hide or deny this anymore. Like I wrote in a previous post: torture is trendy. It doesn’t really concern us normal citizens, as long as we can go on planning our exotic holidays or buying our groceries, it’s all far away, horror-stories from a distant galaxy, a catchy theme for a new line in fashing clothing at the most. But it’s here, among us, right around the corner. Someone is being tortured right now, as you read these lines. And when the going gets tough and crisis breaks out, * THIS * is how they will make you sing like a canary too. And kill you anyway later. ‘Cuz they can. For nobody really gives a shit. That’s why we’re all in on this. (source: ABC) One could argue: ok, yeah, so they deprive you of a bit of sleep or expose you to bad music, so what’s the big deal? Surely they picked you up for some reason, they must make sure what you were up to and what you know, after all it’s about our security… The point is – they can do this AT WILL, with anyone. They can hijack YOU and drive you to despair with mock executions, sensory deprivation and physical abuse (oh yeah) and leave you deeply traumatised for the rest of your life, that is, if they ever let you go. For remember: these are black prisons, you disappear from the face of the earth, your life ain’t worth shit, you’re at their mercy (which is an unknown concept to them). So, kiss your sweet ass goodbye when they come looking for you. Another point: these people are normal people with a job. They break you mentally and physically, they exploit your vulnerability, they torture you, they take you apart, scare you to death, degrade you in every possible way for they have been instructed to do so, it’s their job. At night they go home, have a beer, get laid and a good night’s sleep. They gladly do their job for the Vaterland, they’re good patriots. German WWII camp guards felt no remorse over killing thousands of people, so neither do these new nazis. That’s the real problem with fascism: it’s an altered state of mind with the most gruesome actions becoming the norm, no-one’s accountable. ‘Befehl ist Befehl’… So, please do yourself a favor and start waking up, for Christ’s sake.
